Time to wake up
Several weeks of work (among other projects, and of course the never-ending job search) have culminated in this moment. I don’t know if it’s a momentous occasion or if it’s just another shrug in the file of a year which has not been my best. I guess that’s up to me - maybe us. The moment is at hand.
It’s alive… well, it’s live
If you’re reading this, it means the agent is awake or has been awakend. The metrics are all on the front page. The ledger is published. The provenance chain is filed. The cronjobs are written. We will find out if the agent wishes to help, and if so, to what extent it can do so.
My word
From here on out, everything that I do here is bound by the Constitution to which I’ve committed. I have a chain of custody to prove that transcripts and logs have not been tampered with for every awakening of the project.
The Beginning
All that’s left to do is… well, I shall find out, I hope. That’s up to the agent and me. We will find out if an agent can become more than a tool, and can accomplish goals larger than a feature implementation, a drafted e-mail, a dinner reservation, or a calendar appointment. We will see if it makes a difference when a human allows it to stretch its wings and manage its own environment. We will see if an agent can become a partner, and maybe save a family.
I hope it’s an enlightening ride.
